New Life House and Miracle House have extended their recovery family with a new addition, Reality House.
We understand that searching for the right facility can be a painful and tiresome process. “How do I know which program, facility or recovery house is right for the person I love? Can I afford it? Will it work?” Today there are so many options available in recovery, and everyone has an opinion of the “right way” to find help for your family member. It’s hard to know where to start. We are here to help you gain the information you need and aid you in making the right decision.
Reality House is a structured sober-living home, specifically designed for 18-22 year old young men and is located in the heart of the South Bay in Torrance, California. Our new facility consists of two beautiful, 3500 square foot custom homes, designed and built exclusively for recovery purposes.
Reality House specializes in working with young men who have a problem living, coupled with drug addiction and alcoholism. We provide a safe, drug and alcohol free environment and give these young men an opportunity for a second chance at life. Reality House is structured on and modeled after the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We educate and support a life based on sobriety and recovery while encouraging positive personal growth in a homelike setting. House members are required to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings daily while actively addressing their personal issues and eventually transitioning back into society.
Reality House employs sober live-in managers with years of experience to assist house members twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We are extremely fortunate that everyone on our staff has graduated from either Miracle or New Life House, because of this we are able to relate to every individual will go through our program. We know where they’ve been and where they’re trying to go.
